About Us

The Palmetto Shag Club (PSC) was formed in 1992. PSC is a member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs (A.C.S.C.). There are approximately 100 member shag clubs located predominately in the southeast. Our annual Southern Comfort Weekend Park and Party is well know as a premier party. Palmetto Shag Club welcomes anyone as a member who is interested in preserving and promoting “The Shag” and the music associated with it and who conduct themselves with appropriate social demeanor.
